shout outs to the good people

So in my continued search for many shoes, I've shopped at many places - but my main joint (not just for pickups but also just general friendly banter) is my local store Sneaker Lounge/Soleheaven .

Always a friendly welcome, not just from the owner Dale but also the boss over the joint Woody;

Dale is a really knowledgable guy, always interested in new tech and developments, helping to keep the good people of Newcastle (and beyond!) in fresh footwear.

I would highly recommend anyone to check the site out, grab a bargain and browse their blog!

My experience of the Beta was mixed (mostly due to my poor skills) - the main quote was "I SHOT HIM IN THE FACE!"

Today is "one of those days" - upon review I think three may have ambushed me all at once!

iAm a convert

So during the chaos of launch day, after a 2pm finish at work, I thought I would try my luck at getting an iPhone 4S.

I walked into my local 3 store, expecting to be laughed at - "we've got loads sir, have a seat"

so its Friday, work is on a rundown and amazingly I have the weekend off!

but more exciting, I may finally be leaping aboard the bandwagon that is;

yes I'm off to town after work for various reasons, but I may come home with an iPhone 4S. I'm currently rocking a Blackberry Curve, but after this weeks farce (and the fact my operator Orange are beyond shit....) its time to change the game up a little.

No specific order, these are a few I have "rocked" recently (I'm fully aware its mostly at work, I'm sad I know);

Welcome to the start of something beautiful?

So I realised I spend a lot of time reading blogs, but zero time sharing my own thoughts....

Many of you may know me through my disturbing interest in footwear (specifically trainers or "sneakers" for my overseas brothers) - but I have many loves outside this.

Newcastle United are a big part of my life, for those who have lived under a rock for decades, or the Americans who think that football is some kind of homosexual version of rugby, Newcastle are a Barclays Premiership team from the North East of England who have for many years flattered to deceive. We were always dubbed "the entertainers" - however that brand of entertainment usually came from our own spectacular implosion, it certainly made life interesting if nothing else!
Amazingly life seems to be back on the up for our team, so I will resist tempting fate any further!

Back to footwear - I currently own around 60+ pairs, mostly Nike (although I'm not biased other than to buy what I like, not what is hip), much to the annoyance/confusion of my family and friends. It IS possible for a man to like shoes, HONEST!

I might post up stuff I've bought, I might post shoes that I want but will never own - what I wont do is recycle the same crap that hundreds of other "bloggers" do just because it is published on Hypebeast etc
