So the world is becoming entirely app driven, but what gives the makers of these things to become more sneaky?
Download a game, "you must sign in with your Facebook account" - fair enough I'll just edit settings so it cant do anything without my say so, then an update is released and you are unable to play at all unless it can post on your Facebook wall "on your behalf" - hows about you get to fuck, it wont be on my behalf it will be solely on your OWN behalf.....
Mini-rant over!
Sneaker Monkey
I talk about shoes, and other assorted things - sometimes with anger (or disappointment)

Blogging
Or more to the point, why I am no good at it.......
I go for long periods of time completely forgetting I even set up a blog if I'm honest, I don't pretend that I'm any good or that any of the things I put on here are of a form of quality.
I wish I was good at taking photos (newsflash kids, Instagram doesn't make you a pro) or adding content, the blog I hold as my shining example of both these qualities is dsicle.com - Duane always astounds me with how amazing he can make the most simple of subjects look (whether it is a pair of trainers, sushi or whatever!) - I'd recommend anyone to take a look at it (and his twitter @dsicle ), it hasn't been updated for a while but that's simply because he seems to be the MOST overworked man in the world!
I did consider another Insta-dump of all my sneaker pickups since last I updated this, but then I realised there may not be enough space on the internets for all that shit! I'm meant to be cutting down, but I seem to have shifted from big "hype" releases, to picking up hidden fire from Nike outlets instead (£30 Foamposities and £45 LeBron 9's beat £150 shit quality Jordan retro's any day).
I'd do reviews of upcoming releases, but everyone just rips off the shit on Sole Collector or SneakerFreaker anyway - I'd much rather just read it on there TBH.
All in all, this isn't a very good post - more a case of "I'm still here" and a bit of a tart up of things, maybe I might take it more seriously some day....

I am the worst blogger in the world....
So, first an appology, I kind of forgot about this!
not a lot has been going down for me, other than the usual work/buy sneakers grind - so here's a MEGA update of my pick ups (please dont shout, I know there are a LOT)

shout outs to the good people
So in my continued search for many shoes, I've shopped at many places - but my main joint (not just for pickups but also just general friendly banter) is my local store Sneaker Lounge/Soleheaven .
Always a friendly welcome, not just from the owner Dale but also the boss over the joint Woody;
Dale is a really knowledgable guy, always interested in new tech and developments, helping to keep the good people of Newcastle (and beyond!) in fresh footwear.
I would highly recommend anyone to check the site out, grab a bargain and browse their blog!
so anyway small blog for now, the continued adventures will be televised....
